Subscription FAQ
Q:
What does the subscription cost?
A:
The subscription costs 1 Xanax for 14 days. Send items directly to me, no trades, no parcels. The system handles this automatically.
Q:
Can I pay in bulk?
A:
Yes, you can send however many Xanax and it will be multiplied.
Q:
How do the predictions work?
A:
The predictions are based on historical data I track myself. This data is used to create a model for the decay and restock times for each item. The system aims to account for recurring daily and hourly patterns to improve predictions instead of just using some averages.
Q:
How accurate are the predictions?
A:
The predictions are as good as the data I have. The predictions are spot on with items with stable patterns, which can be confirmed by many users. Sometimes item patterns suddenly change drastically for various reasons (Torn updates, events, etc.). I aim to make my system as adaptive as possible but it can have a bit of a delay to get back to the standard I have.
Q:
Why can't I see the predictions for all items?
A:
I do not track every item on Torn. Some items are just plain unprofitable or have too little max stock. I don't want to spend database space on items that are not worth tracking. Let me know once items suddenly become profitable and I will add them as soon as possible.
Q:
Why does the planner show trips that arrive when items are out of stock?
A:
The planner currently does not adjust planning to avoid items being out of stock. At the moment it plans purely based on maximizing profit over the day. This addition ("Smart stock-based planning" below) is currently in development.
Q:
What timezone are the plans and predictions?
A:
All times in the planner are in your local timezone, including predictions. I might add a toggle between local and TCT at some point.
